Dr. Adri Albert de la Bruhèze was Assistant Professor of history of technology at the University of Twente, Faculty Behavioral, Management and Social Sciences (BMS), Department of Science, Technology and Policy Studies (STePS). In collaboration with the Deutsches Museum in Munich and the Foundation for the History of Technology in Eindhoven, he wrote Cycling Cities: The Munich Experience in conjunction with the exhibit celebrating the 200th anniversary of the invention of the bicycle. He is known for his publications on the history of bicycle use in Europe with Frank Veraart and Ruth Oldenziel.
