Professor Jan Pieter Smits, an affiliated Professor for the NWO project History of Sustainability at the History Division of the Technology Innovation, Society Group at Eindhoven University of Technology, who also works at the Dutch Statistical Agency (CBS). He is interested in issue of the history of sustainable mobility. With Ruth Oldenziel and Frank Veraart he is developing a long-term perspective on Sustainable Mobility Indicators.
