Leon Vauterin is Eindhoven University of Technology PhD candidate (2021-2025) of the TOD IS RUR project, in which he tackles the issue of mobility justice. He also serves as the book review assistant for the journal of Technology and Culture. He graduated in 2018 with Master of Arts in German and Scandinavian Linguistics and Literature Studies magna cum laude at Ghent University, where he also received his Master of Science in Conflict and Development Studies magna cum laude in 2021. In the same year, he finished a teacher training program at KU Leuven (Belgium). Inspired by academic disciplines such as gender or postcolonial studies, his interest in social problems related to in/exclusion grew.
