Vansh Gupta is a second-year BS-MS student in Physics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, India. He is interested in sustainable mobility, electric vehicle (EV) systems, and how people interact with new transport technologies. His current academic focus includes EV routing under energy and charging constraints, and understanding how urban environments shape adoption and usage. Growing up around his family’s electric vehicle dealership, Vansh has seen first-hand the practical challenges of EV infrastructure, range anxiety, and user behaviour in real-world settings. He’s excited by the intersection of technical problem-solving and human-centred design, and aims to explore how data, design, and policy can come together to build more sustainable transport futures.
